Benefit
For donations from Jan 1, 2026: 100/110 for KRW 100,000 or less, 40% for over KRW 100,000 up to KRW 200,000, and 15% for over KRW 200,000 up to KRW 20,000,000 (30% for special disaster areas). A separate 10% local income tax deduction is applied, so donating KRW 100,000 has the effect of a full refund. A return gift (up to 30% of the donation) is provided separately. The 2026 tax reform proposal suggests regional differentiation (e.g., 50% for the KRW 100,000-200,000 range outside the capital region) (before National Assembly deliberation).
