- Welcome Child Grant: KRW 10,000,000 for the first child, KRW 12,000,000 for the second, KRW 15,000,000 for the third or more (+KRW 5,000,000 for preferential areas), paid in cash 4 times quarterly over 1 year. Basic Child Allowance: KRW 200,000 per month for ages 0~12 (KRW 100,000 cash + KRW 100,000 local love gift certificates), KRW 300,000 per month for preferential areas, plus KRW 300,000 per month more for ages 0~1 raised at home. A payment of KRW 1,000,000 for newlyweds is planned (separate).
