- Pregnant women confirmed by a pregnancy confirmation certificate (the pregnant woman herself must register) and 1 accompanying person
- When to apply
- Use after registering based on the pregnancy confirmation certificate. The discount period is within 1 year from the expected delivery date stated on the pregnancy confirmation certificate
- How to apply
- Apply online through the Government24 (정부24) 'Mom-Friendly Pregnancy' (맘편한 임신) one-stop service, at a KORAIL station counter (pregnancy confirmation certificate and ID), or at the eup/myeon/dong community service center (주민센터) or public health center (보건소). For SRT, you can apply for the public discount under My Page on the SR website

- Whether the SRT discount will be extended beyond the end of the application period (Dec. 31, 2026) has not been confirmed. Bring ID when boarding

- A companion cannot receive the discount or ride alone without the pregnant woman. The KTX usage limit is described as 2 tickets per trip per pregnant woman, 2 trips per day, and 8 trips per month (please reconfirm in Korail's official guidance). For SRT, the application period is described as running until 2026.12.31, with up to 2 trips per day and 10 trips per month (based on a policy portal summary; the official source has not been confirmed). Cannot be combined with other discounts.
