Who is eligible: Artists and labor providers insured under employment insurance with an insured period of 3 months or more as of the childbirth (miscarriage or stillbirth) date (if insurance was lost on the childbirth date, 3 months or more in the preceding 18 months).
When to apply: Apply within 12 months of the day of childbirth (miscarriage or stillbirth).
How to apply: Submit the application at Work24 (고용24, https://www.work24.go.kr) website, mobile app, or the employment center.

Note: For artists and labor providers (special-type workers) insured under employment insurance; it does not overlap with the maternity benefit for the uninsured (insureds go here). The maternity benefit payment period includes the childbirth date and at least 45 days after childbirth (60 days for multiples).
