Benefit
Standard pay grades 1-7 (monthly premium KRW 40,950-76,050). Ministry of SMEs and Startups support: grades 1-2 80%, grades 3-4 60%, grades 5-7 50% (KRW 32,760-38,025 per month), up to 5 years. In Gangwon, Chungnam, etc., additional local government support can bring the total to a maximum of 100%. Job-Seeker's Benefit upon closure = base daily amount (selected pay) × 60%; 120 days for 1-3 years of enrollment, 150 days for 3-5 years, 180 days for 5-10 years, 210 days for 10 years or more.

Important notes
May close when the 2026 support scale of about 42,200 people (KRW 15.3 billion) runs out. Additional support from provinces must be applied for separately with the local government.
Note
To receive benefits: enrollment of at least 1 year within the 24 months before closure, involuntary closure, and job search efforts. Excluded from enrollment: real estate rental business, recipients of Job-Seeker's Benefit within 2 years before applying, and businesses not covered by employment insurance.
