Benefit: In 2026, KRW 150,000 per person (up KRW 10,000 from KRW 140,000 the previous year); KRW 160,000 for youth aged 13-18 and seniors aged 60-64 (media reports). About 35,000 affiliated merchants nationwide (performances, movies, books, travel, sports, etc.). Additional benefits such as a KRW 2,500 movie discount.
Who is eligible: Basic livelihood recipients and near-poverty group aged 6 or older (born on or before 2020-12-31)
When to apply: Issuance and recharging from 2026-02-02 to 11-30 (18:00) (closes early if the budget runs out)
How to apply: Community service center (주민센터), the Culture Nuri Card website and app (mnuri.kr), or an NH Nonghyup branch. Customer center 1544-3412.
Important notes: Application closes 11-30, use through 12-31 (reissue applications through 12-15 as noted). Closing soon.
Note: Unused balances expire on December 31 of the current year. Recipients who used the card the previous year and remain eligible are recharged automatically. Separate from some local government programs.
