- Farming and fishing areas (eup and myeon, business income of KRW 5,000,000 or less) 22%, islands and remote areas 50%, age 65 or older, registered people with disabilities, single parents, etc. 10-30% (income and asset requirements), age 70 or older 30% (annual income of KRW 3,600,000 or less and assets of KRW 135,000,000 or less), workplace fire or bankruptcy 30%.

- Self-employed member households living in farming and fishing areas or islands and remote areas, or households of seniors, people with disabilities, single parents, or disaster victims

- Visit an NHIS branch, call 1577-1000, or apply by fax. Supporting documents (disability registration card, proof of residence, etc.)
- Important notes
- Reductions generally apply from the month after the application date, so apply as soon as the reason arises
- Note
- These follow the NHIS's static guidance, so income and asset requirements may have been revised. Some reductions apply automatically, but single parents, chronic illness, etc. require a separate application.
