- Benefit
- Grandparent-grandchild families in which grandparents raise grandchildren under 18 are covered under the Single-Parent Family Support Act. At 65% or less of median income, child-rearing allowance KRW 230,000 per month, an additional KRW 100,000 per month for grandchildren aged 5 or younger, school supplies fee KRW 100,000 per year, and admission to welfare facilities is possible (from 2025, grandparent-grandchild families are included among those eligible for facility admission).
