Note
Income and asset requirements were abolished from 2024 (support regardless of household income). The KRW 3,000,000 limit was confirmed in local government notices such as the Seo-gu District Office, but the Ministry of Health and Welfare and e-Public Health Center (e보건소) pages have no limit wording, so be careful when stating it as definite. Covered conditions: preterm labor, childbirth-related bleeding, severe preeclampsia, premature rupture of membranes, placental abruption, placenta previa, threatened miscarriage, polyhydramnios, oligohydramnios, antepartum bleeding, cervical incompetence, hypertension, multiple pregnancy, diabetes, hyperemesis gravidarum with metabolic disorder, kidney disease, heart failure, intrauterine growth restriction, and diseases of the uterus and uterine adnexa (19 types; diagnosis and disease code criteria must be met). Some conditions have gestational week requirements (e.g., preterm labor at 20~36 weeks + 6 days), so a medical certificate must be checked
