- Tiers 1-15 based on the comprehensive assessment score (42 points or more): tier 1 (465 points or more) KRW 8,293,000 … tier 15 (42-75 points) KRW 1,040,000. Hourly rate for activity assistants KRW 17,270 (nights and holidays KRW 25,900). Self-payment: exempt for living and medical benefit recipients, flat KRW 20,000 for the near-poverty group, others up to KRW 216,200 per month by income. Special support benefits: childbirth KRW 1,385,000, preparing for independence or absence of a guardian KRW 349,000 (up to 6 months).

- How to apply
- Apply after consulting the community service center (주민센터) of your eup/myeon/dong or a branch of the National Pension Service (국민연금공단), or online at Bokjiro (복지로). Service 1355 / 129 / https://www.bokjiro.go.kr
- Important notes
- New applications are not possible after age 65, so applying and receiving before turning 65 is advantageous. Self-payment must be paid by the end of each month in order to use the service in the following month.
- Note
- Upon turning 65, it converts to long-term care, and if benefits decrease, the reduction is compensated (excluding cases such as under 60 hours). The option to choose between activity support and long-term care takes effect 2027.7.1 (planned).
