- If you are a voice phishing victim: 1) Report immediately to the call center of the financial company that received or sent the money and request a payment suspension (connection to police 112 and the Financial Supervisory Service 1332 is possible). 2) If personal information may have been exposed or you suspect a malicious app, factory-reset your phone, register with the FSS Personal Information Exposure Accident Prevention System (pd.fss.or.kr), suspend payments on all your own accounts at once through the Korea Financial Telecommunications and Clearings Institute Account Info Integrated Management Service (payinfo.or.kr), and check for phones opened in your name (msafer.or.kr). 3) Submit a written damage relief application (within 3 business days) to the branch where you requested the payment suspension, together with documents such as the police station's incident confirmation.
