- Therapy support for students eligible for special education, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and hearing training and psychological and behavioral adjustment training (using hospitals, clinics, welfare centers and private therapy rooms). National special schools provide support staff, after-school programs and care classrooms. At universities (and graduate schools), the Support Center for Students with Disabilities provides note-taking, mobility assistance, sign language interpretation, stenography, remote services and assistive devices.

- Important notes
- Apply before the semester starts so that support staff can be assigned smoothly.
- Note
- Therapy support cannot be received together with the Developmental Rehabilitation Service for the same area. At universities, students with mild disabilities may also be supported following deliberation by the on-campus Special Support Committee.
