80% support each for newly enrolled employees with average monthly pay under KRW 2,700,000 and their employers. For pay of KRW 2,300,000 or more, the cap is based on KRW 2,300,000. Maximum per month (based on pay of KRW 2,300,000): employer KRW 108,560, employee KRW 103,960 (employment insurance + National Pension). Up to a total of 36 months counted from 2018.1.1.

Online at the 4 Social Insurance Information Linkage Center (4대사회보험 정보연계센터, www.4insure.or.kr), or at a branch of the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service (근로복지공단, 1588-0075) or the National Pension Service (국민연금공단, 1355)
Important notes
Ends when the 36-month limit is used up. If the monthly premium is fully paid, it is deducted from the next month's bill. No change to the 2026 standards since the 2025.1.1 reform has been confirmed.
Note
A new enrollee means someone with no employment or pension acquisition history in the year just before applying. Excluded: employees with a property tax base of KRW 600 million or more or comprehensive income of KRW 43,000,000 or more, and public institutions. Self-employed persons with no employees are not eligible themselves.
